Meet Copper. He's a red fox who found a basket on the hill above the lake, lined with a red plaid blanket, and decided it was his. He curled up with his tail over his nose while maple leaves came down all around him. Somebody left a lantern glowing beside the basket. The sun is going down gold over the water, and Copper is fast asleep through all of it.
The autumn evening wraps all the way around the mug, from Copper's basket to the lake and a blazing maple on the other side. For the fox lover, or anyone who wishes she could curl up and nap through a cold afternoon.
