Olive is a cat, and somebody folded a patchwork quilt at the end of the bed this morning, which she took as an invitation. She burrowed under one corner, turned around twice, and came up wrapped from chin to tail with only her face showing. The sun has been moving across the window all morning. It found her about an hour ago and she has been warming through ever since, breathing slow, one ear turning at a bird outside. She is a purrito now, and she will stay a purrito right up until somebody opens a tin in the kitchen.
A sleeping cat rolled in a patchwork quilt, with vintage lettering. The kind of sweatshirt you buy for yourself and then again for a friend. Ideal for cat parents, blanket hoarders and committed homebodies.
